Thank you for your interest in Outdoor Hunting Adventures. OHA was started in 1997 with a compassion to keep youth involved in the outdoors or at least that what I thought at the time. It wasn’t all about the harvest of wildlife but more of a bonding of a father and his son or daughter or taking out a grandpa and his grandson or granddaughter. My dad wasn’t a hunter nor a outdoors person and I always dreamed of us hunting together or just going for a hike but that never happened. I lost my father . He passed away in 1987. I have been interviewed several times and asked “why did you start Outdoor Hunting Adventures” and the answer has always been to keep youth involved in the outdoors, but in 2006 in a interview something I wasn’t expecting happened. I began to think about all the hunts I have had either in a ground blind deer hunting or a pit blind hunting waterfowl or just sitting under a tree waiting for the old Tom Turkey to come strutting in to his good looking girlfriend Suzie (that’s my stuffed hen decoy).
I thought about the clients, the father and son or daughter and watched the excitement of them getting ready for what was about to happen. I saw something I never had with my dad and that was the high five, a hug or better yet the dance. It was then that I realized there is nothing better than seeing the making of a story, a memory that will last a lifetime. Sure a harvest of game is rewarding but the making of a memory that will last forever and be passed down for years. That’s what Outdoor Hunting Adventures is all about. Spending time with friends or family and building memories. I always tell my clients we have some of the best hunting and the best gear money can buy but there are two things I can’t control and that is the wildlife and weather but our guarantee is YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME.
